Origami raglan sleeves tutorial

This week, I’m a guest at a wonderful blog called The Sisterhood of the Crafty Pants. If you want to know how I created these origami sleeves…

… go check out my little tutorial 🙂  Thank you, CraftyPantsSisters, for having me!

  1. Hi. I can't wait to try this is the spring. Love it! I will do some muslin practice sleeves first.

Also I have the Janet pattern from Sew Sweet Patterns, which is one you linked to. Not only do they deliver quickly, they answer questions pretty responsively. I have no affiliation with them except as a satisfied customer. So if someone needs a basic raglan dress/tunic pattern, they are great!

  2. WOW! What an unusual, YES, truly UNIQUE style for origami raglan sleeves on a young girl's dress! Is it linen fabric? Certainly Nora has an heirloom dress sewn in a tasteful beige colored fabric. Looks like a perfect job sewing. Sarah Helene in Minneapolis, MN
