Improvisiational Pleating Contest: The second prize

In the past weeks, I saw a number of gorgeous creations and sneak peeks for the Improvisational Pleating Contest. The link party opens in two days, so it’s about time I showed you the second prize. This goes to the prettiest creation which uses a StraightGrain pattern.

Here is my youngest assistant, checking out the quality of these beautiful voiles and lawns.

Yes, that is a Liberty of London fabric Ava is holding there!

As you remember, the creation with the most votes overall wins 3 yards of choice from Birch’s stunning Flight Voile collection (thank you, Birch!).

The link party only closes on the 26th, so you have quite some time left to sew up something. I’m looking forward to seeing all the entries!

  1. Well spotted, Ute 🙂 This is by far my favorite Liberty of London fabric ever… The dress was bought, not made, but I have 80 cm of the fabric in my stash. Haven't had the balls yet to cut it 😉
