Issue #2 of Stylo Magazine is here, and I feel so honored to be part of it! My assignment was to create something with Michael Miller’s new Tangram fabric.
You can see more of my creation – and those of 5 other bloggers who used the same fabric – here. The issue is filled with gorgeous projects of many of our blogging friends, so make sure to check out this issue!
For the photoshoot, I went to one of Antwerp’s most amazing historical places: the Saint Felix Warehouse. This 19th century warehouse has been used for storing cheese, tobacco, whine, coffee, and the like for centuries. It was completely restored in 2006, and today it hosts some cool places to eat, drink and shop.
The white/grey/black colors of the warehouse are the perfect background to photograph the colorful Tangram fabric, and the light in the warehouse is just amazing.
Norah did such a great job in her first shoot for a magazine…
… that of course, she deserved a delicious muffin in de mAkrt, one of the cool eateries in the warehouse.
‘Mom, I think from now on, we should do all our photo shoots here!’.
