Flip This Tinny is coming up! (incl. give-away and discount code)

Unless you have been living on Mars for the last couple of months, I’m sure that I don’t need to introduce the Flip This Pattern contest anymore? This contest, hosted by the wonderful sisters behind the beautiful blog FrancesSuzanne, is one of THE sewing events of the year. For an entire year, 12 different patterns are the subject of a challenge with amazing prizes.

In June, the focus was on E&E’s amazing bubble shorts pattern, in July, Oliver + S’s Roller Skate dress stood central, and in August…. it’s Tinny time! I’m so thrilled to be featured among these amazing pattern designers.

If you want to find out more, win a Tinny, or buy it with a 15% discount, make sure to visit FrancesSuzanne here. And why not sew along? There’s pretty cool prizes to be won by sew-alongers too (Ashley and Emily will announce these soon) – so get those creative juices flowing!
A big thank you to Ashley and Emily for hosting this great contest, and including my pattern. And to everyone who’s participating and sewing along: have fun, happy sewing, and good luck!

  1. Hi Samantha, Kona Cotton is medium weight, and not sheer at all. I really like the feel of Kona Cotton, but I must say it wrinkles a lot (probably because it's not really designed for clothing, but more for quilting). The last time I bought solids, I went for Michael Miller Cotton Couture solids instead: they have a similar amazing range of colors, but it's a bit lighter and a bit more sheer…
