Ready-in-a-nap-dress

In spite of the fact that I regularly receive emails telling me that I won the Spanish/European/Nigerian/… lottery, I still have to work to make a living, which seriously impedes on my ability to do more useful stuff – like sewing. Sewing is generally something I do during my daughter’s afternoon naps, which take about two hours (two and a half when I’m lucky). So if there is one thing I like, it is patterns for simple dresses which can be finished in two hours. And pancakes. But that’s a different story.
The Raglan Shift Dress from Whole Grain Baby is such a pattern. I made it in Kate Spain’s  Good Fortune Zen  Lantern Flower fabric:
